Joanna H. (Wenek) Quirk of Weymouth, formerly of South Boston and Randolph, passed away peacefully at the Bostonian Nursing Home, February 10, 2016.

Beloved wife of the late John J. Quirk.  Loving mother of Jacqueline Vaille and her husband Steven of Weymouth.  Cherished grandmother of Kaylan Keddy and Brittany Vaille. Loving sister of John Wenek, Mary Wenek both of Dorchester and Dolores Porter of Phoenix, AZ.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

For over 30 years, Joanna worked as a secretary for The Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, listening to music and watching her favorite movies.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joanna’s memory to MDA, 50 Federal Street, 6th Floor, Boston, MA 02110.
