Dear sister-in-law of Sr. Margaret Perrow, SJC. Cherished loved one of her “sister” Esther, Anthony “Buddy”, Sherry, Marie, Merry and the late Fred Steward. Also survived by many grand nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 – 7 PM. Burial in Saint Mary’s Cemetery – Quincy. Donations in memory of Johanna “Dolly” Perrow may be made to MSPCA, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. Dolly worked at both the Cochrane Shoe Factory in Stoughton and Connell’s in Braintree from 1938 – 1951. During World War II she was particularly proud of making footwear for the troops and of her work at the USO in Quincy where she was often asked to sing at dances. She attended many social events of the Knights of Columbus with her husband. She fondly remembered growing up in rural Braintree. In her youth, she loved playing sports and was even a catcher for her brother who was a pitcher. Dolly loved animals, music, singing, dancing, and her family. Her gentle encouragement nurtured those around her. Funny, loving, and patient, she was a true care giver whose extended family was the center of her life.
