Joanne M. Farrar

Joanne M. (Toner) Farrar of Weymouth passed away on December 28, 2014 at the South Shore Hospital.

Joanne was born in Somerville, and was raised, and educated in Arlington.  She was a resident of Weymouth for over 60 Years. Her love and joy was her grand children and great-grandchildren.  She loved to sew, garden, cook, and spend time at the beach. Beloved wife of the late Ralph B. Farrar Jr.  Loving father of Andrew K. Farrar Sr. and his wife Claire M. of Weymouth, Richard D. Farrar and his wife Kathleen of Carver, David Farrar and his wife Virginia of Conyers, GA. Grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of the late Rev. Donald J. Toner, Nancy (Toner) Vossmer of Arlington, Paula (Toner) Lee of Arlington, Charles Toner of Quincy, Richard Toner of Colorado Springs, CO, and James Toner of Sharon (formerly of CT).

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday from 8:30-9:30 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street), followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
