Joanne L. Beal

Joanne L. Beal (Cannavo) of Quincy, died September 30, 2016 at the age of 77.

Joanne was an unconventional woman before it became vogue for women to be so; she led a rich and colorful life with many adventures that took her all around the globe. She traveled extensively and lived in many different places before settling down the past decade in the South Shore. Joanne worked as a self-employed Real Estate Broker for several years until her retirement. She enjoyed dancing and painting, the ballet and theater. She loved her family deeply and will be remembered with love by all.

Loving mother of Lynne Barnes and husband Marty of Weymouth. Daughter of the late John and Pauline (Serroni) Cannavo. Grandmother of Nicole and Anthony, both of Weymouth, and Nina of Hingham. Sister of John Cannavo of Weymouth and Frank Cannavo of New York City. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

Services will be private.
