Joan Susan Mcmanus

Born in Mission Hill, Roxbury to the late Henry and Mary (Dromey) McManus, Joan graduated from Cardinal Cushing College and was a dedicated employee of Verizon for 25 years.

Joan loved animals leaving behind her beloved dog Chou Chou and cats Clinton and Chloe.

Joan is preceded in death by her longtime partner, Gregory Dembicki.

Devoted mother to James Geis of Lunenburg, Susan Geis of Belmont and Deborah Geis of Springfield. Dear sister to Mary McCarthy, Phyllis Hayes, Hank McManus, Joe McManus, and the late Jim McManus. Loving grandmother to London Geis, Henry Geis, Sam Geis and Derek Small. Great grandmother to Kayden Geis.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday, June 4th from 4-7 pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy Saturday June 5th at 10 AM followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
