McMahon, Joan (Cronin) of Quincy July 16, 2004. The beloved wife of Arthur F. McMahon. Loving mother of Kathleen Mormino and her husband Kevin of Quincy, Kevin F. and his wife Joan of Bedford N.H., Stephen A. and his wife Kathleen of Quincy, Brian J. of Meriden N.H., Paul J. of Quincy, Gerald R. and his wife Gina of Quincy, Carol J. Morin and her significant other, Donald Dragon of Haverhill. Sister of Maryellen Monteith and her husband William of Quincy and the late Phyllis Lydon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and 11 grandchildren. Mrs. McMahon was born in the Brighton section of Boston, graduating from Cathedral High School class of 1950. She had worked for the phone company and is a member of the Telephone Pioneers Club. She was also involved with organizations that her children were active in, such as being a den mother, active in the Mass Field School P.T.A., and being a band parent. Mrs. McMahon was also a medical secretary in Boston during the 80’s. She and her husband Arthur had recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
