Joan M. Traverse

Traverse, Joan M.  (MacIsaac) of Quincy, died March 23, 2016. The beloved friend and wife of the late Francis G. Ahern. Loving mother of  Joanna T. McGee, Bonita “Bonnie” L. Dugas, Fred J. Traverse, and Robert F. Traverse; all of Quincy, Daniel C. Traverse of Haverhill, and the late William P. Traverse. Sister of William J. Smith of Japan, and the late Evelyn “Pinky” Smith and John Smith. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Joan loved her family, friends, traveling, playing cards, cooking, reading, and the theater. Joan will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday March, 29th from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. The funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.
