Joan M. Delaney

Joan M. (Coughlin) Delaney of South Weymouth, died July 31, 2022 at the age of 87.

Joan was a devoted grammar school teacher for Weymouth Public Schools for many years. She enjoyed spending summers in Falmouth.

She was the wife of the late Arthur R. Delaney. Sister of the late Jeremiah C. “Tiny” Coughlin and the late Margaret Bowers. Loving aunt of Geraldine & Michael Spano; Joan Coughlin; and the late Patricia Hickey, Kevin and Gregg Coughlin. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visitation on Wednesday 8/10 from 10-10:45 AM in  St. Patrick’s Church, 511 Main St., Falmouth followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Burial in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Falmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan may be made to Boys Town New England, 4 Hartwell St., Fall River, MA 02721.
