Joan L. Turnesa Marks

Joan L. (Burke) Turnesa Marks, of Weymouth, died September 7, 2018. Joan worked at the Burlington Coat Factory in Braintree for over 15 years where she was blessed with many friends. She enjoyed camping at Ellis Haven, traveling, cooking and was a skilled seamstress. Family traditions and spending time with those she loved was the foundation of her happiness. She will be dearly missed. 

Former wife of Kenneth P. Marks and wife of the late Charles B. Turnesa. Devoted mother of Karen Coplin and her husband John Turner of Abington and Kathleen Russell and her husband Bryan of TX. Cherished grandmother of Michael Coplin, Devon Farley, Aine Grady and great-grandmother of Elijah, Miles, Marcus and Rosalie. Sister of the late Jean Cavagnaro.

Services are private.

Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth at a later date.
