Joan L. Hilchey

Hilchey, Joan L. (Young)  of Quincy, died May 7, 2014.

Beloved wife of 52 years to George Hilchey of Quincy.  Loving mother of Karen R. Hilchey of Quincy, Joyce M. McGee and her husband Robert of Quincy and Kenneth E. Hilchey and his wife Christine of Plymouth.  Sister of the late Charles Young.  Cherished grandmother of Kenneth and Maureen Hilchey of Plymouth and Colleen McGee of Quincy.

Joan was born and raised in Maryland.  She lived in Dorchester before moving to Quincy where she lived for the past 27 years.  Joan enjoyed taking trips to New Hampshire, shopping and going to the beach.  Most of all Joan adored spending time with her grandchildren who where the cornerstone of her life.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
