Joan F. Rizzo

Rizzo, Joan F. (Helin) of Quincy April 1, 2008. The beloved wife of Charles Rizzo. Loving mother of Charles A. & his wife Barbara Rizzo of Hingham, Peter J. of Quincy, John C. and his wife Gloria Rizzo of Squantum and the late Paul Oke Rizzo. Devoted grandmother of Charles P., Gregory A., Caroline T., John A., and Paul L. Rizzo. Daughter of the late Oke Bent Helin and Eileen (Murray) Helin. Joan was a life long resident of Quincy and very proud of her Finnish heritage. She was a 1950 graduate of Quincy High School and later worked at Mass Electric Co. Mrs Rizzo was a gentle person filled with kindness. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Other loves included golf, Bermuda and cooking. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Saturday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Agatha’s Church, Milton at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Cremation will follow.
