Joan E. Casey

Casey, Joan E. (Ericson) of Hingham November 10, 2005. Beloved wife of John M. Casey of Hingham. Devoted mother of Thomas A. Casey of Severna Park, MD, J. Eric Casey of Cincinnatti, OH, Jane C. Criscitiello of Holliston, Daniel M. Casey of LaJolla, CA, and Ann C. Rose of Groveland. Loving sister of Thomas L. Ericson of Boca Raton, FL. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Monday at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2 – 6 PM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan Casey may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Baystate Drive, P.O. Box 9060, Braintree, MA 02184. Joan graduated from University of VT in 1951. She served in the United States Navy from 1952 – 1955. She then worked for United Air Lines for many years as a Stewardess Supervisor until she got married. Joan was married for 46 years. She was the former President of the Hingham Garden Club, a member of the Republican Town Committee, and the Cohasset Golf Club. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, and spending time with her family. Joan also enjoyed spending time at their Florida home as well.
