Joyce, Joan A. (Doolin) of Weymouth, died September 30, 2020.

Joan worked at Boston Edison and later Nynex from where she retired.  Joan loved traveling and spending time with her family up at Newfound Lake.  Joan was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, swimming in the ocean, and spending time with her family.  She was affectionately know as “Aunt Joan” and she cherished her time spent with all her nieces and nephews and their families. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Loving wife of 51 years to the late Thomas E. Joyce.  Beloved mother of Joan Marie Joyce of Weymouth.  Cherished sister of Mary Doherty and her late husband William of Quincy and the late Kevin Doolin, Grace Hamels, Ruth Harrington, James Doolin, Donald Doolin, and Barbara Rossman.  Also survived by her loving nieces and nephews,  great nieces and nephews and great, great nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 9-10:30 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Funeral Mass will be private.  Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of your choice.
