Doody, Jo-Ann E. (Butler) of Hingham, after a brief illness, January 21, 2005. Beloved wife of 41 yrs. to David A. Doody. Devoted daughter of Elizabeth (McMann) Butler of Hingham and the late Harry Butler. Loving mother of Lisa Gates of Scituate, Stephen Doody of Canton, Robyn Griffin of Mashpee, and Lynda Doody of Hingham. Cherished sister of Richard Butler of Scituate & sister in law Helen Butler. Proud grandmother of Owen, Julia, Harry, & Henry Gates of Scituate; Charles Doody of Canton; and Brian Griffin of Mashpee. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Jo-Ann enjoyed cooking, family outings, Sunday dinners, old movies, and music. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
