Jill A. Loeffler

Loeffler, Jill (Mallory) of Hanover, formerly of Syracuse, NY and Flushing, MI, died September 5, 2017.

Jill’s life centered around her loving family. An elementary school teacher in her early career, she and her husband instilled the importance of education in their two daughters at a very early age. She also took great pride in supporting her husband, nationally-acclaimed in the field of industrial ventilation, with his ventilation software company. An artist by nature, she enjoyed drawing and writing. Her faith kept her anchored, and she in turn helped others as a hospice volunteer. She was a loyal friend, treasured her pets, and had a kind and generous soul.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Loeffler; loving mother of Glenda Garland and her husband Scott of Hingham and Cheryl Shepard and her husband Andrew of Winchester; Grandma Jill to Jared, Samantha, Nathan, and Rachel; cherished daughter of the late Glenn E. Mallory and Jeanette (Trudelle) Mallory; and survived by several cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, September 10th, from 4 pm to 8 pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 am on Monday, September 11th, prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, Hanover at 10 am.  Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse, NY, on Tuesday, September 12th at 10 am.
