Jennifer M. Gomm

Jennifer M. (Chenette)  Gomm of Plymouth, passed away on March 27, 2023. She was 52. The beloved wife of 15 years to Jeffrey Gomm of Plymouth. Cherished daughter of  Sheila Silva and her husband, Geno Silva of Rockland. Devoted mother of Alexandra Kapolis of Waltham and Katherine Kapolis of Plymouth. Sister of David Chenette, his wife Amy Chenette of Weymouth, Jean Chenette, and her husband Justin Harris of Wareham. Loving Aunt of Emma Chenette. A dear friend of Jennifer Carroll of Taunton and neighbors of Redbrook in Plymouth.

Jennifer devoted her entire life to her children and husband. Jennifer embodied ambition, intelligence, and empathy. She created her own successful business, Gomm Chiropractic Billing Inc, from the ground up. She was an immensely hard worker. She had a fiery spirit, was full of laughter, and was never afraid of a challenge.

Her happy place was at the beautiful home she made in Plymouth, surrounded by her family and neighbors. She loved to preach the quote, “live your best life.” She loved to travel and try new food throughout her different adventures.

Jennifer always found peace in the ocean. She could often be seen dancing in the kitchen, cooking healthy meals, and going on walks in her neighborhood. Her contagious laugh brought joy to everyone who knew her. She loved learning about and prioritizing the health and wellness of herself and her family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in the Church of the Resurrection, 1057 Main St., Hingham, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jennifer may be made to the Malala Fund to support safe access to education for young girls at https://malala.org/donate?sc=header.
