Jennie E. “Dolly” Cataldo

Cataldo, Jennie E. (D’Orazio) “Dolly” of Quincy, passed away April 21, 2012 surrounded by the family she loved. Beloved wife of Angelo Cataldo of Quincy. Loving mother of David Cataldo and his wife Lisa of Norwell and Michael Cataldo and his wife Julie of East Bridgewater. Sister of the late Dora Delfino. Cherished Nana of Christopher, Drew and Sarah Cataldo of Norwell and Noelle and Leah Cataldo of E. Bridgewater. Aunt to her devoted niece Lisa Connor and nephews Frank and Richard Delfino. Dolly is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Dolly was born in Jamaica Plain before settling in Quincy where she raised her family. She worked for the Labor Guild in Quincy for 20 years before recently retiring. She was well known at the Beachcomber where she worked for several years greeting her customers with a smile. In her earlier years Dolly was proud of her first job as Assistant Dietitian at Parker Hill Medical on Mission Hill. Dolly was a people person with a very big heart. She made an impact on anyone she met and touched their lives in a special way. Most of all Dolly’s family was the cornerstone of her life. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
