Jennie Belcher

Belcher, Jennie (Lang), lifelong resident of Weymouth, passed away, May 7, 2016. 

Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Harry C. Belcher.  Loving mother of Alan Belcher and his wife Carol of Plymouth and the late David A. Belcher and Bruce K. Belcher. Dear sister of the late Daniel S. Lang, Matthew R. Lang and Catherine Burton. Loving mother-in-law of Judith Belcher of Abington. Loving grandmother of Susan Medeiros and her husband John of Whitman, Gregory Belcher and his wife Ali of Middletown, RI, Matthew Belcher of Chicago, IL, Eric Gardner and his wife Sharon of Virginia Beach, VA and Brenda Stevens of Los Angeles, CA. Great grandmother of Brandon, Jack, Maggie, James, Joanna and Penelope.

For 19 years, Jennie worked in Weymouth North High School in Food Service as a baker and retired in 1988.  She was a Trustee of the Fairmount Cemetery and a life member of the Weymouth Historical Society. In her spare time, she loved to travel and quilt. 

At the request of the family, all services were private.
