Jeffrey Raymond O’Connor

Jeffrey Raymond O’Connor of Weymouth, unexpectedly and suddenly,  July 15, 2016. 

Beloved and devoted son of Jacqueline Russo of Weymouth. Loving son of Daniel F. O’Connor and his wife Mary of Middleboro.  Cherished brother of Danielle Smith, Nicholas Russo, Anthony Russo and the late Daniel F.O’Connor, Jr. Special uncle of Madison Faith and Peyton Grace Smith.  Jeffrey is also survived by an aunt, and many cousins and friends.

Jeff proudly served his country as a U.S. Army Private, 3-67 Armor Calvary Scout, Hound’s of Hell during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was the recipient of the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Army service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon.

In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed playing soccer and football, but he loved demonstrating his famous dance moves on the dance floor.  He was a compassionate friend to many. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 pm in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
