Jeannette (Pellegrini) Leone

Jeannette (Pellegrini) Leone, of Quincy, died peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was 86.

Born in South Boston, she was raised in Quincy and was the daughter of the late Dewey and Ada Pellegrini. Jeannette attended local schools and graduated from Quincy High School with the Class of 1951.

A homemaker, Jeannette raised her family with love and devotion. Her family was the most important part of her life. She always enjoyed the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In her spare time, Jeannette liked to knit, watch Jeopardy and do word search puzzles.

Jeannette was kind, generous, pleasant, selfless and loving. Her life lessons and example are part of her legacy that continue through her family. She will be missed by all the lives she touched.

Jeannette was the beloved wife of the late Albert L. Leone , who died in 1995. She was the devoted mother of Loretta Mullen and her late husband Keith of Georgia, Thomas Leone and his wife Joanne of Framingham, David Leone and his partner Karen Jordan of Alabama, Peter Leone and his partner Ruth Fitzpatrick of Quincy, Gary Leone and his wife Lisa Halay-Leone of Whitman. Jeannette was the loving grandmother 13, loving great grandmother of 11 and the loving great-great grandmother of 2. She was the dear sister of Loraine Stotlar of Arizona and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In keeping with current health concerns regarding the Covid-19 coronavirus, services will be private.
