Spaur, Jeannette D. (Mancini) of East Bridgewater, passed away on May 11, 2022. Jeannette was born in Quincy to the late Nazzereno and Philomena Mancini. Jeannette grew up on Chubbuck St. in Quincy Point where she met her husband Glenn. Glenn was a Navy serviceman waiting for the USS Salem to be completed at General Dynamics Shipyard. Mrs. Spaur was a lifelong communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Quincy, where she made all of her sacraments. She took great pride in keeping her home clean and enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. 

Married to the late Glenn D. Spaur, Jr., the love of her life for 55 years. Loving mother of Michael G. Spaur and his wife Deborah of Johnston RI, Mary A. Tardie and her husband David of East Bridgewater, Cheryl M. Harlow and her husband Chris of East Bridgewater, Mark A. Spaur and Anthony J. Spaur of East Bridgewater. Devoted sister of Mary Kelliher of Holyoke, Gloria Crozier of Weymouth, the late Antoinette Lewellen, and Innocenzio “Sonny” Mancini. Lovingly remembered grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral mass for Jeannette in St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jeannette may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
