Jeanne M. Smart

Jeanne M. Smart (Wight) of South Weymouth passed away on January 19, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Jeanne was born in Quincy to Gilbert and Mary Wight. She was a lifelong Weymouth resident, graduated Weymouth High School in 1955, and married at Saint Jerome’s in North Weymouth in 1958. Jeanne and her husband raised their family in a home they built in South Weymouth. She loved to cook, bake, sew, tend to her garden, and spend time around the pool with her husband and family. Jeanne could always be seen with her Coca-Cola and listening to WBZ on the radio.

Beloved wife of 43 years to the late Francis J. Smart. Loving mother of Michelle Jones and Dennis of East Weymouth, Frank Smart and Lauren of Weymouth, Michael Smart and Anne of South Weymouth, Stephen Smart and Debbie of Hanson, Stacy Jenkins and Derek of East Bridgewater. Cherished Nana Jeannie to Dennis and Robert Jones, Christina Kennedy, Caroline Smart, Michael and Reilly Smart, Stephen and Jillian Smart, Kylie and Derek Jenkins. Jeanne is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
