Jeanne L. Mitchell

Mitchell, Jeanne L. (Nickerson) of Hull, died on June 17, 2010. She was 41. Cherished daughter of Kay (McGrath) Nickerson and the late Donald Nickerson, retired Sgt., Hull Police Department. Beloved wife of Kenneth “Mitch” Mitchell of Hull. Devoted mother of Kayla J., Brendan K. and Sean D. Mitchell all of Hull. Loving sister of Kacie Townsend and her husband David, Donny Nickerson and his wife Wendy, Paul Nickerson and his wife Teresa all of Hull, Michael Nickerson and his wife Christine of WA, Danny Nickerson of Hull, Edward Nickerson and his wife Dede of Hull, Jimmy Nickerson and his wife Michelle of IL and Tommy Nickerson and his wife Sharon of Weymouth. Cherished godmother of Katie (Townsend )Davidson of NV. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jeanne was a lifelong resident of Hull. She was a member of the Hull High School Marching Pirates, graduating in the class of 1986. Jeanne worked for the Council on Aging for many years, helping people in various ways throughout their day. She was an avid Red Sox fan and a kind, warm person with a smile that lit up her whole face. As the youngest of nine children, Jeanne loved spending time with her family and her main passion was always her three children. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Tuesday 4 – 8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Wednesday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in St. Ann’s Church at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
