Jean Shirley Delaney

Jean Shirley (Hollis) Delaney, of Hingham, formerly of Weymouth, died December 28, 2019.

Shirley enjoyed traveling in her early years and could often be found baking and sewing. After raising her family, she went on to work at Jordan Marsh for many years. She was happiest when surrounded by those she loved.  

Beloved wife of Ramond V. Delaney of Hingham. Devoted mother of Robert Delaney and his wife Catherine of Abington, Deborah McCormack and her husband John of Jamestown, RI and Jayne Oldham and her husband Raymond of Norton. Cherished Grammy of Kevin Delaney, Stephen Delaney, Christopher Oldham, Robert McCormack, Kate McCormack and great-grandchildren Cassie, Gabi, Dominic and Max. Loving sister of the late Claire Frazier, Donna Reske and William Tilden. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street).

Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 11:30 AM.

Burial will follow in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45 PM.
