Jean S. Maloney

Maloney, Jean Sarah (Hanlon) of Wollaston, died peacefully on May 12, 2013 surrounded by her family. 

Jean grew up in Dorchester and moved to Wollaston 46 years ago. She worked at JFK Library in Dorchester for many years. She was a member of the St. Ann’s Mariannes in Wollaston. Jean was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her time with her family. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

The beloved wife of 50 years of Francis J. Maloney. Loving mother of Francis J. Maloney, Jr. and his wife Debra of Milwaukee, Stephen  Maloney and his wife Darlene of Weymouth, John Maloney and his wife Kathleen of Norwell, Marybeth Chuma  and her husband Todd of Westboro and James Maloney  and his wife Amanda of Marshfield. Devoted Gramma to 10 grandchildren.  Sister of  Rita Griffin of Londonderry, NH, Jean is pre-deceased by 6 brothers and sisters. . She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.   

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, Boston.
