McGowan, Jean Marie (O’Connor) of So. Weymouth , formerly of Canton, April 21, 2005. Beloved wife of Richard T. McGowan. Loving daughter of Edward P. and Marjorie T. (Crowley) O’Connor of Canton. Sister of Deborah A. Robinson and her husband Paul of E. Bridgewater, Nancy T. O’Connor of Weymouth, and Kelley M. Russell and her husband Paul of Marshfield. Aunt of Patrick and Christopher Robinson, Kaitlin, Courtney and Robert Stuble., Kylie, Jaclyn and Alexa Russell. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Francis Xavier Church, So. Weymouth at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM. Cremation will follow. Mrs McGowan graduated with a B.A. from Bridgewater State College. She has worked for Star Market Co. for thirty years and retired as the assistant traffic manager. Devoted to family and friends, Jean Marie loved dancing, entertaining, travel,the beach and collected teddy bears and Byers carolers. She died after a two year battle with cancer.
