Jean Marie “Jeannie” Louis

Louis, Jean Marie “Jeannie” (Griffin) of Whitman, formerly of Quincy, December 9, 2009. Beloved wife of Joseph Louis of Whitman. Loving mother of Matthew Louis of NY and Christina DeLorenzo and her husband Michael of Whitman. Daughter of Gloria (Beaumier) Griffin of Quincy and the late Eugene Griffin. Sister of Peter Griffin of Pembroke, Kimberly Oliverio of Marshfield, Andrea Griffin of Marshfield and Jeffrey Griffin of Quincy. Cherished grandmother of Aiden Toy, Michael DeLorenzo, Jr., and Isabella Delorenzo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jeannie’s whole life revolved around her loving family. They all brought her much joy but the grandchildren held a special place in her heart. A caregiver by nature, Jean was a Registered Nurses Aide at Eventide Nursing Home in Quincy for 12 years. She had great compassion and was accepting of all people never turning anyone away. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday, December 14, 2009 prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church in Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Mt.
