Jean L. Leblanc

Jean L. (Farrenkopf) LeBlanc, of Abington, formerly of South Boston, died June 10, 2018. 

Jean taught knitting as well as various forms of crafting. She was a talented singer. Jean was devoted to her family and was affectionately known as the “neighborhood mom.” She will be remembered for her sassy personality, intelligence and great sense of humor. 

Beloved wife of 47 years to Jack LeBlanc of Abington. Devoted mother of Mickelann Burke and her husband Christopher of Dorchester, Jarrod LeBlanc and his wife Marguerite of Hyde Park and Keryn LeBlanc and her fiance Ben of Abington. Cherished Nana of John, Cullen, Ava, Ella, Lana and great-grandchildren John and Henry. Loving sister of 6 siblings and predeceased by 3. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.
