Jean E. Buckley

Buckley, Jean E. (Johansen) of Quincy, September 30, 2008. Born December 24, 1933 in Lowell. She was the daughter of the late Frank M. Johansen and Elizabeth (McKinnon) (Johansen) Michalowski. Mrs. Buckely graduated from Lowell High School in 1951 where she was a drum majorette. Jean was a staunch member of Alcohlics Anonymous in Quincy . She retired after 11 years from Quincy Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald D. Buckley. Sister of the late Mary R. (Johansen) Gregoire. Loving Aunt of Deborah Letourneau and her husband David, Georgette Gregoire and Valerie Faria and her husband Fil. Great Aunt of Jonathan, Ryan, Deric and Joseph. Dear Cousin of Marie Almeida and her husband Herman. Godmother of Dorothy Baillargeon. Jean is also survived by the extended Almeida & Buckley families. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Friday at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday from 10 -12 noon. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
