Jasper J. Orlando

Orlando, Jasper J. “Jake”  of Quincy, died June 29, 2016.

The beloved husband of  68 years the late Dorothy M. (Doyle) Orlando. Loving father of Thomas Orlando and his wife Peg of Quincy. Joseph Orlando and his wife Laura of Franklin, John Orlando and his wife Mary of Quincy, Stephen Orlando and his wife Janice and Marianne Willett and her husband Steven all of Hanover. Brother of Anthony Orlando and his wife Viola of Quincy and the late Vincent and Frank Orlando. Brother in Law of Carol Orlando of Stoughton.  Jake is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. 

A proud W.W.II Navy Veteran and a member the Plumbers Local #12.  Jake also enjoyed gardening, snow shoeing, canoeing clamming at Wollaston Beach, boating and spending time up in Gunstock, New Hampshire.  He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and his devotion to his family. The family has lost two very special people in their lives, but they feel blessed for having had two wonderful parents. They will be sadly missed. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday  4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday at 9:45am  prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy Thursday at 10:30am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
