Janice Marie Burns

BURNS, Janice Marie of Sturbridge, formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 16, 2018, she was 72.

Born in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Leo H. and Mary E. (Conroy) Burns. She was the sister of Michael Burns and his wife Dawn Colton-Mund of W. Barnstable, Joanne Pendley and her husband William of Topeka KS, the late Leo Burns and his wife Rosemary of E. Falmouth whom survives, and the late Robert Burns and his wife Nancy of Austin TX whom survives. Janice also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all those who have cared for Janice throughout her life, especially those at the Monson Hospital in Palmer, and the angels at her group home in Sturbridge for the past 16 years.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday from 4-8 PM, with a prayer service beginning at 7:30 in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Burial on Monday at 11 o’clock in Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouth Port.
