Janice M. Maccune

MacCune, Janice M. (Dunlap) “Nana” of Hingham, died February 11, 2024.  

Nana adored her family and was a devout Catholic. She was very involved in Glasonbury Abbey, attending daily Mass and volunteering in the office. She also helped fundraise for their annual golf tournament. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends. Nana was a spitfire with a quick wit who was always loving and welcoming. She is now reunited with her beloved husband dancing together again and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Devoted wife of the late Robert MacCune. Loving mother of Thomas and Jean, Paula and Bob, Susan and Tim, Judy, Bobby and Nancy, Michael and Ann, Jeff and Annie, Greg and Kathy, and John and Susan. Cherished sister of Charlie and Margaret and the late Tommy. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 

A Funeral Mass will be Thursday in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10:30 AM. Burial in Hingham Centre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
