Janice M. Kelley

Janice M. Kelley (Haygarth) of Braintree, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully surrounded by her family on February 8, 2017.

The beloved wife of the late Robert J. Kelley, Ret. QFD. Cherished mother of Joan M. Edson and her husband Mark of Southborough,  Robert J. Kelley ,Jr. and his wife Deborah of Worcester, James J. Kelley,QFD and his wife Terry of Weymouth, Nancy K. Davis and her husband Tim of Naples, FLA, Maureen G. Spavento and her husband Joseph of Quincy, Mary J. Sweeney and her husband Stephen of Hingham and the late Paul F. Kelley. Sister of Joyce Johnson of Whitman, Walter Haygarth of CA and the late Carol Ann Haygarth. Devoted grandmother of Jennifer Hoey, JT Kelley, Deana Spavento, Kelley O’Shea, Michael Spavento, Laura Davis, Steven Spavento, David Oronte, Shannon and Dylan Kelley, Daniel Oronte, Cameron Kelley, Jack & Julie Edson and Ryan Kelley. She  is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Janice worked as an office manager at the Town Brook House in Quincy for more than 25 years. She was a member of the Presidents Golf Course and loved playing golf. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling especially to the Caribbean Islands. Later in life she became an avid reader and enjoyed traveling to Foxwoods. Her family was the most important aspect of her life. She was devoted to each of them and although they are broken hearted they feel blessed to have had her in their lives. She will be sadly missed. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 7 PM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.

Private burial at a later date in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
