Janet Marie (Bergin) Folchi

Janet Marie (Bergin) Folchi, of Brockton, died peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, with her sister Linda, by her side. She was 72.

Born in Boston on February 26, 1950, she was a cherished daughter of the late James Edward and Barbara Alice (Roberts) Bergin. Janet was raised in Hull, attended local schools and graduated from Hull High School. She was a devoted daughter, loving sister, beloved aunt, and great aunt.

Janet lead a quiet life. After she graduated from high school, she went on to work in the insurance industry. She loved to travel, and traveled the world in her younger years. An avid knitter, Janet loved knitting, which she learned from her mum. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crosswords, gardening, puzzles, and crime television shows.

Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Following cremation, Janet will be interred privately in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Janet’s name to Emma Ryan Memorial Fund.
