Riley, Janet M. (Weisenberger) of Quincy formerly of Dorchester, suddenly on May 20, 2005. Loving Wife of Richard “Dick” Riley of Quincy. Beloved Mother of Mathew Riley and his wife Kate of Holden and Amey Riley of Bridport, VT. Devoted Grandmother of Aidan James Riley. Sister of William F. Weisenberger of Dorchester, Judith Weisenberger-Keefe of NH, Annmarie Gross of NE, Carole McMahon of Sandwich, Mary Livingston of MD and Joan Pearson of TX. Janet also leaves her best friends Pamela & Walter Swierk of Plymouth, MN. and Joan & Larry Zinamon of Quincy and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many devoted cherished friends. Janet grew up in Dorchester in St. Gregory’s Parish. She attended and graduated from St. Gregory’s Elementary and High School. After graduation she worked for Traveler’s Insurance and then met her husband Richard. They married in 1967 and moved to Quincy. Janet raised her family in Quincy and worked part time at Filene’s and Stop & Shop. She later took a job at “Lets Have Fun Nursery School” on Hancock St. in Quincy where she worked for 10+ years. After leaving the nursery school she took a job with Quincy Youth Hockey. She has been there for the past 15 years and was currently the Secretary/Treasurer. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, WOLLASTON on Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3-5 PM and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Janet M.
