Janet M. Crowley

Crowley, Janet M. (Connor) of Quincy, formerly of Fields Corner, died April 27, 2017. 

Janet’s focus in life was her faith, family and community.  A longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish, she was a Past President and life member of the North Quincy Catholic Women’s Club.  She adored her husband, children and grandchildren.  As for her community, the City of Quincy, Janet was a civic minded resident.  She was involved in the Montclair Koch Club girls softball and bowling, Montclair School PTA, Past President of Fontbonne Academy Mother’s Guild, a Founder of the Montclair/Wollaston Neighborhood Association and Past President and 40 year member of the Quincy Community Action Programs.  A proud graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School in 1956, Janet never forgot her Dorchester roots.  She will be remembered as a caring, generous and giving lady. 

Beloved wife of Howard F. Crowley of Quincy.  Loving mother of Michael Crowley and his wife Vicki of Scituate, Gail Minchello and her husband Rick of Abington, Diane Spurling and her husband Steve of IL, and the late Donna Salem.  Cherished sister of David Connor of Quincy, and the late Marjorie Glendye.  Nana to Sean, Meagan, Steven, Brittney, Michelle, Lindsey, Ricky, Sarah, Samantha, and Matt.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM.  Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton.
