Janet L. (Morrill) Kelley

Mrs. Janet L. (Morrill) Kelley, of Quincy, died January 15, 2022.

Janet was a life long resident of Houghs Neck, before retiring to Long Boat Key, FL in 2015. Janet was a loving friend to many and everyone that knew her will miss her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She had a way of making everyone feel included and part of her family.

Janet had many jobs throughout her life,her most notable was as a Loan Officer at South Shore Bank for over 20 years, then she became a Daycare provider to family and friends for over 15 years. Janet loved gardening and baking, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Kelley. Loving mother of Maureen Heath and her husband, John, of Abington and Nancy Cross and her husband, James, of Quincy and the late Barbara Smith and her husband Paul of Bridgewater. Grammie to Joseph, Jessie, Meghan, Paul, Ryan, and Grace. Niece of Marjorie McAllister of Quincy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 1-3 in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) followed by her funeral service at 3 PM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, Ma 02452.
