Janet A. (Mcdonough) Maccormack

Mrs. Janet A. (McDonough) MacCormack, of Weymouth, passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 21, 2021. She was 90.

Janet was a daily communicant at Saint Jerome’s Church in Weymouth where she was also a member of the church choir. She was always full of life and such a people person sometimes wanting to party till the very end. Janet also enjoyed taking vacations with her family and like to read in her spare time. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Beloved wife of 66 years to Edward R. MacCormack.

Loving mother of Edward MacCormack and his wife, Diane, of Scituate, Carolyn Cattaneo of Holbrook, Paula MacCormack and her companion, Nino Crugnale of South Boston, and Bob MacCormack and his wife, Susan, of Rockland. Sister of Thomas McDonough of Abington, Leo McDonough of Ft. Pierce, FL, and the late Jack McDonough. Cherished Mimi to Christina, Alanna, Bobby, Cameron, Lauren, Madolyn, Kimberly, Caty, and Natalie. Great Mimi to Emilia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

Burial will follow in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
