Jane Weigel Fisher

Weigel Fisher, Jane of Hingham, originally of CT, died May 20, 2017 after a long hard fought battle against breast cancer.

Jane was a fantastic wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Jane loved nothing more than her family and attending her children’s many sporting events, including basketball, football, baseball, field hockey, and lacrosse. She was the Global Sales Director for over 30 years at the Ritz Carlton Hotels and was incredibly proud of her work. Jane also ran the Derby Academy Fundraiser every year and was on the board of the St. John’s Nursery School. She was involved with the Hingham Sports Partnership and Hingham Girls Basketball League. She was a generous, kind, beautiful, and loving woman who always put others before herself. Jane was outgoing, worldly, funny, sophisticated and an overall amazing person to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of David Fisher of Hingham. Cherished mother of Sarah, Laura, and John Fisher, all of Hingham.  Daughter of the late Stanley Weigel and Bernice Weigel.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 11 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
