Jane Stockman Cuchural

Cuchural, Jane S. (Stockman) of Hingham, passed away on October 27, 2018.

Beloved wife of George J. Cuchural, MD. Loving and proud mother of George Cuchural and John Cuchural both of Hingham. Sister of Edward Stockman, Jr. of Charlestown and Brian Stockman of Needham. Sister- in-law to Valerie Kennedy of Holmdel, NJ and Brother in-law to Gary Cuchural of Burlington, VT. Sister-in-law to Noreen Stockman of, Needham, MA. Aunt of Brice Stockman, Keith Stockman, Jacqueline Stockman, Christine Hill and James Kennedy, III. Jane will be remembered by anyone lucky enough to have met her for her strength, compassion, and loyalty.

Jane was unshakable in her drive. She graduated from Northeastern School of Nursing, then proceeded to graduate cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Boston College. Jane excelled in her career first working at MGH in the ICU later to become Nursing Director of the cardio-thoracic ICU at Tufts Medical Center. She was an advocate for patients’ rights and was admired and respected for her knowledge, skill, and attentive care. Her career path later changed to developing health care strategies as an early member of the Health Data Institute, a startup aimed to improve the quality of patient care and health care efficiency. Outside of work Jane was an advocate of a number of charities and causes including Goodwill, where she worked, and advancing women’s rights. Her friends will forever smile thinking of all the adventures they shared and her zest for life.

Her husband and sons are forever grateful for her unconditional love, her tender care, and her relentless drive to support them in every endeavor.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in Hingham Cemetery.
