Jane S. Braun

Braun, Jane S. (Sterling) of Squantum, age 80, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 26, 2015. 

Beloved wife of the late Alfred E. Braun.  Loving mother of Alfred Braun and his wife Janet of Quincy, Michael Braun and his wife Monica of Cohasset, Kurt Braun and his wife Kathy Shionis of Weymouth, and Heidi Lally and her husband Paul of Milton.  Honored sister of Ruthann Wetherby of Squantum, and Chuck and Jane Sterling of Plymouth. Cherished grandmother of Fred, Peter, Kurt Jr., Katie, McCauley, Tyler, Micaela, JackPaul, and Ben.  Jane leaves behind her beloved great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She enjoyed vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard, Castle Island Trips, and day trips to CT.  A frequent visitor to the Kennedy Center at the Quincy Council on Aging, where she enjoyed the company of close friends.  Jane is happily remembered as a gracious host, and generous friend.  She added life and humor to every occasion.  She was most happy spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be sorely missed and warmly remembered.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:45 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Elizabeth’s Church, Milton, at 10 AM.  Burial in Old Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
