Mullins, Jane R. age 85, of Quincy May 27, 2007. Devoted wife of the late James Mullins. Loving sister of the late Mary Donovan, Sarah Heath, Anne, Nora, Bridget, Margaret, Thomas, and John Ryan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday 6/1/07 at 11:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 12 Noon celebrated by Fr. Paul Francis. Visitation on Friday prior to Mass from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Middleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jane Mullins may be made to Marian Manor, 130 Dorchester St., South Boston, MA 02127. Jane came over from Ireland in the 1950’s and settled in the Wollaston section of Quincy. She worked in the retail industry as an Assistant Buyer, working for R.H. Stearns in Boston for over 30 years. She also for Lord & Taylor. She was an outgoing, lively person and was the pillar of family get togethers. Jane was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in N. Quincy and associated with the Women’s Club and the dances. Jane loved to cook and was excellent at it. Jane loved Irish dancing, gardening, and traveling. She enjoyed many trips to England and Ireland to visit family members. Jane also enjoyed many summer vacations in Maine. She was a member of the Irish American Club in Roxbury.
