Hildenberger, Jane M. of Dorchester, died February 28, 2021 after a 40 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Jane adored her family, especially children. She was an artist, specifically watercolors, and painted a lot during her time at the Boston Home where she lived for many years. She never complained and was always happy, faithful, loving, and kind. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Loving daughter of the late Francis and Theda Hildenberger. Cherished sister of Miriam and Dave Johnson of Hull, Lucy Hildenberger of CA, Theresa  and Jack Sherman of Burlington, Pauline and Don Tadlock of VA, and the late Meg Valley. Also survived by deeply loved nieces Rita Vieira and Debbie Shields, nephews,  Luke Hildenberger, Jake Sherman, Matt Sherman, Thure Johnson, and Craig Valine, grand nieces and nephew, and many cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jane may be made to The Boston Home, Attn: Ali Cahill, 2049 Dorchester Ave., Boston, MA 02124.
