Jana Davis

Jana L. (Nista) Davis, a beloved mother passed away peacefully at her home on April 25, 2025. Born on February 9, 1941, in Weymouth.

Known for her vibrant personality, Jana loved being around people, and her social nature endeared her to many. She enjoyed karaoke, where she would gather friends to sing her heart out, sharing laughter and music that brought everyone together.

A lifelong resident of Weymouth and member of the Weymouth's Sons of Italy, Jana continued the legacy of community involvement and shared joy with those around her.

Jana is predeceased by her husband James G. Davis, Sr. Survived by her children Leanne M. Davis, Kristen A. Davis, Marc A. Davis all of Weymouth, and the late James G. Davis, Jr. and the late Robyn L. Davis. Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary ( LaRocco) Nista, sister to the late Rosemarie ( Nista) Froio and the late Joseph A. Nista, Jr. Survived by her nieces Cheryl L. Toner of Marshfield and Karen M. Hughes of Halifax.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 5/1/2025 from 9-10 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). A Funeral Mass will be held in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM following visiting hours Thursday/1/2025.
