Morad, James William of Quincy, August 10, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Caroline M. (Quinn) Morad. Loving step-father of Deborah Baker and her husband John of Weymouth and Cherie A. Von Haack of Bel Air, MD. Brother of Fredrick Morad of Dorchester, Naseeb Peter “Mo” Morad of Quincy, Michael Morad of Woburn and Rose Mobayed and Edna Swanson both of So. Boston and the late Joseph, Victor, Edward, Louis, Samuel, Najeeba, Freida and Helena. James was also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. James was born in New Bedford. He lived in Dorchester for many years before moving to Quincy in 1978. James was a member of the DAV Cavanaugh Post #79 in Quincy. He was a proud WWII Army Veteran. In his earlier years James enjoyed working as a plumber. James also liked playing cards with friends and was considered a very generous man. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Friday, August 13, 2010 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Saturday, August 14, 2010 prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of James may be made to Disabled American Veterans, State House – Room 546, Boston, MA 02133.
