James T. Leary

Leary, James T. of Hingham August 12, 2006. Husband of Kristine (Hassett) Leary. Loving Father of Erin, Ryan, Conor and Dillon Leary all of Hingham. Beloved Son of William and Liz (Pickett) Leary of Hingham. Brother of Edward Leary of Hingham and Ellen Edelman of Maryland. James is also survived by several of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4- 8 PM. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of James may be made to Leary Childrens Education Fund, C/O Hingham Institute for Savings, 55 Main Street, Hingham, MA 02043. James was born in Weymouth and lived in Weymouth before moving to Hingham when he was in the 5th grade. He graduated from Hingham High School Class of 1977 and went on to Massachusetts Maritime Academy class of 1981. He was shipped out after graduation to Puerto Rico and New Orleans. He went to work as an engineer for R.N. Bradley located in Boston as well as BTE in Cambridge. He was an avid sports fan and loved baseball and boating. He coached baseball as well. He was most happy with his family. He was most proud of his children. Jim was a very helpful person who was always willing to lend a hand.
