James T. Hachey

James T. of Braintree, died December 1, 2019.  

Loving father of Elizabeth P. Hachey and her boyfriend Jacob Smith of Braintree and Julia Hachey of Weymouth.  Devoted grandfather of Jacob “JJ” Smith.  Beloved boyfriend of Saundra Santosuosso of Weymouth.  Cherished son of James Hachey and Cheryl Hachey (Burke) both of Braintree.  Caring brother of Valerie Hachey of Braintree and Samantha Hachey of Braintree.  Adored nephew of Charlie Burke and Michael Burke.  Dear Uncle of Krystal Hachey, Matthew Nelson, Tyler DeMarco and Arianna Hachey.  Also survived by many friends and extended family.

James was a stand up hard working man who could fix just about anything.  He was a former mechanic and loved working on cars as well as a talented carpenter.  James was generous, giving and always put others before himself and would give anyone the shirt off of his back.  He enjoyed dancing and simply spending time with those he loved.  His main passion in life was his family.  James will be remembered for is amazing sense of humor and his indescribable personality.  James will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Cremation will follow.
