James M. Stoffel, Sr.

James Michael Stoffel, Sr. of Lawrence, died October 6, 2013, he was 70.

Jim grew up in South Boston and lived in Abington for many years before moving to Lawrence. He attended both Franklin Pierce and Wentworth College. Jim worked as a draftsman in the engineering field for many years. He was skilled in gardening, woodworking and cooking. He also enjoyed reading. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

Devoted father of James M. Stoffel, Jr. of East Bridgewater, Barbara A. Stoffel of East Bridgewater, Cecilia M. Stoffel-Griffin of Easton and adopted son Johnathan Stoffel of Texas. Cherished “Grampy” of Natasha Leandra, Darion James, Sophia Margaret and Olivia Ann. Loving brother of Linda Belben of Ludlow, Norman Belben of Ludlow, Robert Belben of Billerica and Jim Stoffel of Franklin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
