James Keenan

Keenan, James of Quincy, died May 2, 2016.  

Jim was born in Liverpool, England and has lived in Quincy for the last 49 years. He was a merchant marine sailing cruise ships and then immigrated to the US and became production manager for Howard Johnson. He enjoyed traveling and wintered in Lantana, FL with his wife. Jim enjoyed golf and following English soccer. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Beloved husband of 54 years to the late Joan Keenan  Loving father of James E. Keenan and his wife Susan of Taunton, Peter M. Keenan and his wife Pamelia of Quincy, and John R. Keenan and his wife Cheryl of W. Bridgewater, Brother to the late Thomas and Frank Keenan. Cherished grandfather of Mark, David, Brian, Michael, Christina, Craig, Kaitlyn, Jonathan and 12 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
