James “Jimmy” “Jimbo” Wright

Wright, James J., Jr. “Jimmy” “Jimbo” of South Boston, formerly of Quincy died September 26, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Jimmy was a man with a hard shell and a large heart.  He enjoyed making those around him feel special.  Jimmy was the owner of J.W. Disposal Services out of Quincy for many years.  He had a talent for construction and assisted with the building of the football field in Pembroke.  Creating memories was an important aspect of Jimmy’s life, whether that be cooking for family gatherings, walking the beach with his wife, having a day with his children or simply watching a Bruins or Patriots game with those he loved.  He will be remembered for his impressive one liners and phrases.  Jimmy will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth McCormick of South Boston.  Loving father of  Ashlene Wright of Maine and Kyle Wright of Quincy.  Cherished grandfather of Jolene Wright of Quincy.  Devoted son of Linda Wright of West Roxbury and Jim Wright of Quincy.  Adored brother of Kevin Wright and his wife Stacy of Taunton, Jennifer Lynch and her husband Tim of Pembroke and Christina Hooley and her husband Dan of Hyde Park. Caring uncle of Anna, Kelli, Aniela, Cooper and Nora.  Also survived by many dear friends and extended family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday from 2-4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 4 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH . Cremation will follow.
